§1 What cookies are
LAST UPDATED — AUGUST 21, 2026A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to hold onto, so the site can recognize you later — to keep you signed in, remember a cart, or, less charmingly, follow you around with ads. Your browser sends a cookie back to the site that set it on every visit, which is what makes cookies worth regulating.
Your browser also offers storage that never leaves your machine on its own: localStorage sticks around until cleared, and sessionStorage vanishes the moment you close the tab. The law treats these the same as cookies, so we list first-party and third-party storage together in the table below.
§2 What this site sets
AUDITED AUGUST 21, 2026 — THE WHOLE LISTEvery cookie and browser-storage category this site uses. Exact third-party cookie names follow Termly's production scan after this source is deployed; the categories and purposes below are what the code actually does.
| CATEGORY | NAME | TYPE | PURPOSE | DURATION | PERSONAL DATA |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ESSENTIAL | tskNav | sessionStorage flag | Lets the site play its page-transition animation as you move between pages. It carries nothing about who you are. | Until the tab closes | None |
| ESSENTIAL | Termly consent record | CMP cookie / storage | Remembers Accept, Decline, or granular category choices so the banner does not re-ask every page. Served by Termly (app.termly.io and Termly consent APIs). | Until you change it, or Termly's CMP expiry | Consent choice; may include a region/session identifier Termly needs to apply it |
| PERFORMANCE & FUNCTIONALITY | tawk.to widget | Optional third-party cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, WebSocket | Runs the live-chat bubble after you accept this category. Connection cookies can be needed once the widget is active; that does not make the whole widget essential to the site. An active widget can open a visitor session even if you never send a message. Do not type card numbers or highly sensitive information into chat. | While the widget is active; provider cookies per tawk.to | Chat text and any name/email you type; IP, device/browser data, pages viewed, approximate location, timestamps |
| ANALYTICS | None set by us — no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no Hotjar or Clarity. tawk.to's own visitor-session monitoring is not first-party analytics and stays blocked unless you accept Performance and Functionality. | ||||
| MARKETING | None set — no advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. | ||||
Our hosting provider's servers keep standard connection logs — your IP address, your browser's user agent, and a timestamp — for security and debugging. That happens server-side, involves no cookie on your device, and is covered in our privacy policy.
§4 Third-party requests
TERMLY · TAWK.TO AFTER CONSENT · FONTS STILL OURSEvery typeface we use for the site itself is self-hosted. The rotating pots are drawn locally in your browser. If you accept tawk.to, that widget may load its own fonts or CDN assets (including jsDelivr or Google Fonts) — that is the chat provider, not our page chrome.
Termly's AutoBlocker and banner load from app.termly.io. Consent choices are recorded through Termly's US/EU consent APIs. That is a third-party request on every visit, so the manager can run.
One tawk.to widget is installed globally (property 6a874d88e687441d49b91030, widget 1k0g8do72). It is optional. Termly AutoBlocker holds embed.tawk.to and related tawk origins until Performance and Functionality is accepted. Decline, or withdraw later, keeps it blocked. There is no second copy of the widget and no advertising pixel.
§5 Cookie Settings
REOPEN · CHANGE · WITHDRAWUse in the footer (or this button) to reopen Termly, change categories, or withdraw Performance and Functionality. After you withdraw, reload: optional tawk.to should stay blocked on later page views. Essential storage such as tskNav and the consent record itself can remain so the site and the manager still work.
Every modern browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies and site storage — Settings, then Privacy or Site Settings. Clearing triskelceramics.com site data also wipes tskNav and Termly's stored choice; the banner can appear again on the next visit. Blocking all cookies may hide the banner's memory of your choice, so you may see it more often.
§6 If this ever changes
CONSENT BEFORE STORAGE, ALWAYSIf we add analytics, advertising, extra embeds, or another chat provider, three things happen before they run: this page is rewritten, the date at the top changes, and Termly is asked to classify the new technology — before, not after, it touches your browser. Optional tools stay behind the banner.
The current state of the site is always what's written on this page, dated above. If the date looks old and something on the site looks new, ask us and we'll tell you exactly what's going on.
